Merlin is from my second litter. He is out of my foundation dam, CH Clearlake Helen Wheel, DOM "Helen".
Merlin finished his championship quickly and at 13 months of age he won Best In Sweeps at the 2005 Papillon Club of America National Specialty, being
breeder/owner handled.
In the expert hands of Jackie Breazele, Merlin began his specials career in 2006. Although he didn't begin until 4 months into the show season,
Merlin finished the year as the #5 Papillon in the nation (breed system) obtaining many group wins and placements.
In 2007 Merlin had an outstanding year. The following are some of his many prestigious wins:
Best In Show under judge Joe Gregory;
Award of Merit at the Papillon Club of Nourtheast Regional Specialty;
Best in Specialty Show at the Papillon Association of Puget Sound under breeder judge Jan Paulk; and
Best in Specialty Show win at the Papillon Club of Southern California.
The aforementioned wins, along with his numerous group wins and placements, made Merlin the #3 Papillon in the country for 2007.
Merlin is now enjoying the life of a house pet, being bred very selectively.
